CARF International, a non-profit organization, accredits health and human services around the globe. It's responsible for accrediting roughly 47,000 programs in more than 20,000 locations across five continents. Their work impacts over 8.3 million people via over 6,000 providers.

Founded in 1966, CARF International primarily accredits Health and Human Service organizations. These include a range of services such as Aging Services, Behavioral Health, Child and Youth Services, Employment and Community Services, and Opioid Treatment Programs, to name a few.

Depending on the organization's readiness and compliance with standards, CARF provides various accreditation lengths, including 3-Year Accreditation, 1-Year Accreditation, Provisional Accreditation, Non-Accreditation, and Preliminary Accreditation.
