Find a COA-Accredited Organization

The Council on Accreditation (COA), established in 1977, is an international nonprofit organization devoted to maintaining high standards in human and social services. As an independent body, COA accredits organizations across the United States and Canada that meet rigorous service delivery standards. Over 1600 COA-accredited organizations serve more than 7 million individuals and families.

COA's role extends to being an approved accreditor for Qualified Residential Treatment Programs (QRTPs) under the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA). This accreditation reflects COA's commitment to improving residential care for vulnerable groups. Through its work, COA upholds the quality and dependability of human and social services, highlighting its importance in enhancing community well-being.
